"So You Want to Start a Business", Women Business Owner's Conference, The Ohio State University , February 20, 1993 in Columbus , Ohio .  Developed and taught one session in this conference for several hundred women business owners.

 

Practice Management Institute: Financial Management in the Veterinary Practice, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, Columbus , Ohio .  Developed and taught in a program for veterinarians and practice managers on September 15-17, 1992 in Columbus , Ohio .

 

"Quality: The Competitive Challenge for the 90s,"1992 Health Care Conference, sponsored by The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, November 5-6, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio.  Developed and coordinated a panel for over 300 attendees.

 

"The Total Quality Management Program: a Chief Financial Officer's Contribution,' with Lawrence R. Rittgers, CPA, sponsored by the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Members in Industry Discussion Group, on April 22, 1992.  This continuing professional education program drew a much larger crowd than expected and brought in many top-level financial managers from major corporations throughout Central Ohio .

 

Designing Profitable Hospital Services: Integrating Planning, Marketing, Finance and Legal Issues In An Era of Health Care Alliances, Ohio Society of Hospital Planning and Marketing of the Ohio Hospital Association 1992 Annual Meeting, January 29, 1992 , Columbus , Ohio .  Developed and taught in a program for over one hundred hospital chief executive officers, administrators, planning/marketing managers, chief financial officers, and physicians.

 

"Running a One-Woman, Home-Based Business", with Jan Leibovitz Alloy, Business Exchange Series, sponsored by Coopers and Lybrand, October 22, 1991 in Columbus Ohio .  Developed and taught in a seminar for over 50 women business owners.

"Financial Impact of Managed Care Systems on Hospitals," The 14th Annual Executive Program in Health Care Management, conducted by the Graduate Program in Hospital and Health Services Administration, The Ohio State University, November 9, 1989 in Columbus, Ohio.  Developed and taught a session in this advanced educational program for health care executives.

 

"Women in Medicine" Leadership Conference, sponsored by the Duke University Medical Center, American Medical Women's Association, American Medical Association, and Student National Medical Association.  October 31 through November 2, 1980 in Durham , North Carolina .  Served as special consultant in the design and implementation of this exciting national conference with over 175 participants representing a variety of leadership positions in the Health care industry.
